Today’s coloring page has a good memory verse for you to learn. It starts with a problem:
“The wages of sin is death”
If we have broken God’s law and done things that are not good, then the price that we owe is death. Sin brings death. And the Bible says that we have all sinned. (Romans 3:23)
But the next part of the verse is the answer to the problem:
“but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
I like that part–it is good news! Even though Jesus is God, He came to this earth to live a life just like we have to live. He was a boy, then a man; and He showed us how to obey God. He never, ever sinned.
But then He died to pay the price for our sins, so that we could live forever with Him and our loved ones in Heaven one day!
Yes, Jesus loves us!
